Exploring Life

  • I like long-distance running, mountaineering, and rock climbing
  • I have completed 32 full marathons, aiming to finish all 6 World Marathon Majors races, with London and Boston marathons still to go
  • I have finished 15 trail running races, including 11 100km and 100-mile races. When I was a student, I set goals to complete Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB), Marathon des Sables (MDS), and the Tor des Géants (TOR330) races. I've already completed UTMB (2019)
  • In the next 24 years, I hope to climb the 14 eight-thousanders, the highest peaks of each continent, and trek to both poles (14+7+2). Currently at 0+2+0, having climbed Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak (2015), and solo climbed Mount Elbrus, Europe's highest peak (2018)
  • I wish to climb El Capitan in Yosemite in my lifetime
These races were completed before 2020. I hope to restart my exploration journey in the future

Financial Freedom

Years ago, I wrote down the goal of financial freedom. Now, I'm still making a living, but I hope to realize my ambitious words from back then in the near future.

Relationships

After having a family, my biggest wish is family harmony and health. I hope my children will love the mountains and nature as much as I do

One More Thing

I've been keeping a diary since junior or senior high school. After graduation, I wrote in my diary for a long time. The desire to write has always been with me. Ten years ago, I wrote over a dozen articles in English on Medium. Five years ago, I started writing articles on WeChat Official Accounts Platform, updating daily for 168 posts before only posting annual summaries. However, I've been writing continuously, just not publishing much. As I grow older, I want to publish something because writing, whether for myself or others, is something that has a cumulative effect in the long run. When I'm old and can't walk or run anymore, I'll probably still be able to type, which could be a great hobby for my later years.
